1. What two great signs appeared in Heaven? (1-6) What do the three main characters represent? (5, 9, 19:15, Phi 2:9; Joh 10:14-15; Phil 2:9) What greater conflict do we see here? (Gen 3:15) Which war broke out in heaven and what was the result? (7-10) What is Satan called and what is its long lasting scheme to thwart God’s plan? (9-10) How have God’s people triumphed over him? (10-12a)
2. How did the dragon that was thrown down on earth react toward the woman and her offspring? How did God protect them? (12:14-16; Ex 19:4) Describe the first beast coming out of the sea. How does the dragon use it against God’s holy people? (13:1- 10) Describe the second beast coming out of the earth. How does the beast lead the world astray? (13:11-18) What do these two beasts represent, and why? In such time, what is required from God’s people? (13:9-10.18)
