University Bible Fellowship
What We Do
BIBLE STUDY
We try to help each student to study the Bible, that through Bible study he or she may come to know God personally, and also come to know himself or herself, and find the clear purpose and meaning of life in our Lord Jesus Christ.
One to One Bible studies allow for individuals to explore the truth with a mentor in a one on one setting.
We have group Bible studies centered around different campuses and interests.
PREACHING THE GOSPEL IN CAMPUSES
We seek to share the gospel with non-believing college students and teenagers and invite students and others to study the Bible.
We have the campus prayer meeting to pray for Rutgers Campus, for this name, and for the world. We also hold Group Bible Studies on the campus to raise steward for this campus.
We form fellowships to meet to study the Bible, to pray for one another and for God’s work, to train leaders.
DISCIPLESHIP
We encourage and support students to grow as disciples of Jesus who have Jesus’ image and follow his footsteps with lifelong commitment through sharing life together and discipleship training.
The goal of discipleship is students may be equipped with maturity, knowledge and skills to become disciple makers who can help others to become disciples.
Bible Academies and Bible Conferences
Bible Academies are held during semesters. The Bible passages for the Academies are selected according to the campus situation and the social problems prevalent at the time and the messages are delivered by students leaders. This provides a good opportunity for students to grow spiritually.
We held Bible Conferences to provide opportunities for spiritual training through united prayer, message writing, training in message delivery, and inviting students – International Bible Conference, Summer Bible Conference. Easter Bible Conference.
World Mission
From the beginning, UBF students realized that Jesus’ command to make disciples of all nations was a command to all Christians. Students who have accepted Jesus Christ and studied the Bible faithfully throughout their college years establish their value systems according to the teaching of the Scriptures. God calls many students to go as cross-cultural missionaries.
UBF is a layman’s missionary movement, so those who go as lay missionaries must be financially self-supporting.
We train prospective missionaries in the Bible and in stewardship and various skills necessary to making a good environment. We are continuing to develop our missionary and staff training program.
UBF has sent lay missionaries to over 98 countries and pioneered campuses through one-on-one Bible Study and Disciples Making.
