Father, Forgive Them - Easter 2023
New Jersey UBF had Easter Bible Conference on April 7 to 9 2023 with 51 attendants including 4 Newcomers.
Pastor Ron Ward and His wife Dervilla Ward joined the Conference and blessed with His powerful message based on Acts 2:17.
We studied Jesus’ death on a cross and resurrection from Luke’s Gospel Ch23 and 24. M. Matthew J. Kim delivered his message about Jesus’ love that sacrificed himself 100% to forgive our since Once for all. M. Ogbonna delivered the resurrection message on Easter Sunday full of spirit and excitement like the angels which delivered the first resurrection message. Especially, we learned that we are witnesses of Jesus’ death and resurrection by faith in the word of God. Thank God for raising M. Emmanuel to be a witness of Jesus’ death and resurrection through missionary life in America.
Our Vision Team (Middle and High school) presented book reports on “Pilgrim’s Progress” with deep and personal understanding and applications. We see the hope and vision just as P. Ron delivered in his message “Your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams” that our young leaders will grow to be bible teachers, shepherds, and spiritual leaders with the power of the Holy Spirit. M. Mary Lee and M. Maria Park shared their sincere testimonies.
We prayed for ISBC together that The Spiritual Revival may continue through UBF Ministry and we may see His Glory.

March/12 2023 Sunday Worship
Rev. Laurel Underwood
Great Grand Daughter of Horace Grant Underwood joined our Sunday Worship Service.
Horace Grant Underwood (1859-1916) was graduated from New York University and New Brunswick Theological Seminary. in 1885, he was sent to Korea as a Missionary by the Presbyterian Board of Missions with his friends the Rev. and Mrs. Henry G. Appenzeller of the Methodist Episcopal Mission.
He opened a Christian orphanage in Seoul, which was to become the John D. Wells Academy for Boys (1886), founded the Saemunan Presbyterian Church (1887), established the Korean Tract Society (1888), published the first Korean hymnal (1896), and chaired the board of translators of the Scriptures into Korean until his death.
Underwood helped organize the Seoul branch of the YMCA, founded the Pierson Bible Institute (now Pierson University), and in 1917 founded the Chosen Union Christian College, which is now Yonsei University in Seoul. He died in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Through Luke 7:1-10, we remembered Him and His love for Korea and Koreans. We may love this nation and American Campus students. God may raise up 7000 Missionaries who will follow the footsteps of Underwood through one-on-one Bible study and Disciple-Making.
